Your Photo Session
My photographs express your inner essence and capture the magic of the moment at its most expressive. I am a different kind of photographer. Step into a world of striking portrait photography, excellent service and exquisite ways to display your photographs.
A photo session with me is not a formal and intimidating occasion. I will take the time to get to know you. I will gently guide and encourage you to open your soul to the camera, discovering the individual that you are in the relaxed atmosphere of my informal studio or in a location of your choice. Forget stayed poses and outdated setups.
I create portrait photography for individuals and couples, children and family portraits with and without pets, wedding photography, profiles and portfolios for personal or professional use on the Internet, including model portfolios, intimate portraits for women, men and couples, as well as portfolios for bodybuilders. I also accept commissions for funeral photography.
When you come to me for a photo session you are safe in the knowledge that you have chosen a photographer, who is known for his portraiture and whose work has been exhibited and published internationally and featured on radio and national television.
I plan every photo session individually and no two commissions are ever the same. After all, there is only one you. Before your photo session, we will discuss ideas, clothes and other details. When you arrive for your photo session, we will have a chat over tea or coffee to get to know each other. A portrait session lasts around one and a half to two hours (a little shorter for the little ones) at my studio or in a location of your choice, indoors or out. This is enough time for multiple clothes changes and different setups to create a varied range of images. If we need a bit longer, don’t worry. I normally only accept one booking per day so that time never becomes an issue.
You can bring any clothes, accessories and props to your photo session. Pets are welcome on all location sessions. Outdoor shots can be part of any session, including studio sessions. Your photographs can be prepared as a selection of colour and black & white or to match your preference. There is ample, free off-street parking at the studio.
I appreciate that you may have come to me from further afield. Asking you back for a viewing session would be inconvenient for you. Within usually between one and three days of your photo session, you will have access to a set of electronic proofs (a kind of preview, from which you select your finished photographs) on your private, password protected online gallery. I will be pleased to advise you on your best choice. Of course, if you are in the area and would prefer to look through your photographs with me, you are very welcome to join me for a free viewing session. There is no sales pressure and no minimum order.
Prices
The session fee of £170 includes a framed print and a product credit of £70; together worth over £110. Framed prints start at £43, photobooks at £125 and there are many more beautiful presentation products to choose from. Wedding commissions start at £320. Opening times
I aim to be available at a day and time that suits you. All photo sessions are by arrangement, including evenings and weekends. Enquiries will be answered Monday to Friday.
