Products & Presentation
Other photographers use Internet printing labs, which will produce prints of inferior quality, or put all your photos on a CD and send you on your way. This may be cheap but it is also deeply dissatisfying and sacrifices any ideals of quality. Wolf Kettler Photographer uses only the best equipment and the finest, professional materials to create his hand-crafted, exhibition quality prints, fine photobooks and many other products of exquisite quality that will take pride of place in your home and in your heart.
If you cannot find the product that you wish to have, please do not hesitate to ask. We can source most presentation products from a range of trusted suppliers, which we have known for years.
Framed prints
My frames are produced by one of the leading manufacturers in Europe to high standards of craftsmanship. Real glass is used in all frames. Ready for hanging.
My giclée exhibition-quality prints, available in a range of sizes, are produced on the finest baryta photographic paper available today. With its delicate sheen and very slightly textured yet smooth surface it has a distinctive "art appeal", reminiscent of traditional, air-dried silver halide photographic papers. Prints created on this paper are dried overnight before mounting and framing.
Every print is crafted with individual attention - you could say hand-made. If any imperfections occur, I destroy the faulty print and start again. All papers and inks are archival quality, which means that they are acid free and last a very long time, if treated with a little respect.
(1) Star Frame: This frame is constructed from a contemporary wood profile. Suitable for hanging or standing and available in black and natural wood. Photographs are flush mounted in a bevel cut mount. Available in 20x25 cm (8x10 in).
(2) and (3) Tribeca Frame: Our favourite frame. It has a deep, contemporary wood profile with a slim face. The Tribeca frame is available in black, natural wood and white. Suitable for hanging. Photographs are gallery mounted in a bevel cut mount. Available in 24x30 cm (9x12 in), 30x40 cm (12x16 in) and 40x50 cm (16x20 in).
(4) Classic Frame: A metal frame with the classic, minimalist look, suitable for hanging and available in polished black. No mount is used with this frame. Available in A4 (21x30 cm; 8x12 in), A3 (30x42 cm; 12x16½ in) and 50x70 cm (20x28 in).
Prints without framing
At Wolf Kettler Photographer, even prints without framing are presented beautifully and the quality is just the same as with framed prints - please read the details above.
Prints in 13x18 cm (7x5 in) size are presented in mount folders or concertina mounts (depending on the size of your order) at no extra cost.
A4 prints (21x30 cm; 8x12 in) are presented in mount folders or mounts at no extra cost.
A3 prints (30x42 cm; 12x16½ in) are presented in a smart, black portfolio box (free for orders of five or more prints in this size or, for smaller orders, available as an optional extra).
The Leporello
Big presentation for the smaller print: The Leporello is a concertina mount for 13x18 cm (7x5 in) prints with a fine cloth cover and ribbon tie. It comes with a minimum of eight prints and can be extended in sets of two prints. The Leporello is an exclusive product, which I import directly from the manufacturer in Germany. The covers come in a wide range of attractive colours.
Photobooks
Photobooks are printed and bound coffee table-style books.
My photobooks are the finest available on the professional market, printed on professional-grade papers and produced to bookshop quality. The books are bound in a linen-clad hardcover, supplemented with end sheets and dressed in a custom designed dust jacket. They are pure pleasure to view and to touch.
The books come with 20–40 pages. Extra pages can be added. The layout of the book is flexible: You can have one photograph to a page or many.

Other presentation products
Canvas prints: Available in two sizes, 30x40 cm (12x16 in) and 40x60 cm (16x23½ in), without and with framing.
Folded greeting cards: Your photograph on the front. Inside can be left blank or printed with your message. Finished size A5 (15x21 cm; 6x8 in). Popular as "thank you" cards, invitations and to send a lasting memory with your message to groups of people.
Wall calendars: An exclusive, custom-made wall calendar with your photographs. 13 pages (12 months + title) with wire binding for wall hanging, printed on heavy, high quality paper. You do not have to wait for the new year - calendars can start in any month. 30x42 cm (12x16½ in).
Jigsaw puzzle: That's you cut you into little pieces. The finished jigsaw measures 30x45 cm (12x18 in) and contains 266 pieces. Popular with lovers.
