Passion

Passion - two snails embracing. Photograph by Wolf Kettler.

It had been a cool night and now the sun warmed the earth with her kindness.

I found these two snails huddled together this morning, hugging almost, on the path that leads to my front door. Were they just being sociable, keeping warm together overnight, making love or devouring each other? Who can tell.

Whatever it was, they were doing it with much passion.
