On photographing strangers, who, through random acts of communication, cease to be strangers and become people that I have met.

This series of photographs of a French watchmaker at work is the result of an impulsive request by her employer. I did not have any lighting equipment in my shoulder bag and used only available light. I wanted to interpret her professional skills and her concentration as much as her vibrant youth.
