The pitfalls of spring

Wolf | March 15th, 2011 - 11:33

I get restless in the spring and it feels like spring today. Well, almost. Today is a promise of spring.

In spring, few things are more exciting than stripping off and running barefoot through the tender new grass. Stripping off is a delicate affair, though, that is best executed in suitable surroundings. The margin between pleasure and offence is thin.

I took this photograph on my mobile phone on an unusually mild (note: mild not hot!) Saturday in early April of last year. I call it “Lost civilisation” – bare chested men in town with their shorts sliding off their bottoms.
