Environmental Policy
Each individual on our planet is responsible for the environment. Less consumption, less waste of resources, and more space and respect for nature lead to a smaller impact of my activities on the environment.
Carbon Emissions: Much of my work is done from home, thus eliminating carbon emissions from commuting. I drive a smaller than average, fuel-efficient car.
Computers are power managed & shut down when not in use. Other electrical appliances are turned off at the wall rather than put on stand-by when not in use.
I use energy efficient lightbulbs and turn off lights in rooms, which are not used.
Waste: I use recycled paper wherever possible. My notepads are made in-house from scrap paper. Paper is shredded and taken for recycling.
Materials, for which I have access to recycling facilities, are recycled.
Nature: The garden surrounding my home and studio is a nature and wildlife-friendly environment, free from overly eager human intervention.
All garden waste is composted.
