About Wolf
I am a child of the 1960s; born, raised and educated in Europe. I live with Kaspar, Camillo, Domino and my wife. Kaspar is a cat. So are Camillo and Domino.
I have been a photographer almost all my life, although my professional life started out entirely differently. My work has been published and exhibited internationally.
Photography is a speculative interpretation of life
My work examines the relationship between photography and reality. I want to stimulate the viewers to project their own interpretation, thus becoming an integral part of the creative process: Nulla si sa, tutto s'immagina (secondo Fellini) — Nothing is certain, everything is imagined.
Everybody is beautiful
I like to photograph my sitters on location, in a space of special relevancy, e.g. their home or other sacred spot. My studio, too, is not a sterile environment but part of my home and has an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
I encourage my sitters to open their soul to the camera, which helps me to express the person in my photographs. Everybody is beautiful — it just depends on how you look at them.
Service and quality are the cornerstones of my practice. My commitment to my clients is to create unique photographs of the finest quality and to make every photo session an enjoyable experience.
