Wolf Kettler is a different kind of photographer
I am an experienced, professional photographer, whose work has been published and exhibited internationally and featured on radio and national television. I have a passion for the arts and an obsession with producing photography of exquisite style and flawless quality.
Over the years I have developed my own photographic style and lighting techniques to produce the striking, artistic portraits, for which I am known. It is not by accident that my clients arrive from all around the country and from abroad.
I am distinctly different to the average photographer. Other photographers rely on stayed poses, outdated setups and act as mere camera operators. My portraits are fresh and informal; the camera is my natural extension. I encourage my sitters to open their soul to the camera. My expertise and experience enable me to capture a person's inner essence. No two photo sessions are ever the same because no two clients are the same. I do not recycle old ideas. I create an individual photo session for every client. I believe that everybody is beautiful - it just depends on how you look at them.
Other photographers depend on image manipulation tools to make mediocre images a little more interesting. I create my extraordinary portraits at the point of capture. Before I press the shutter release button on my camera, the image already exists in my mind.
Other photographers compromise quality and service in their belief that only cheap rates will attract clients. I believe that expertise and time have a value that need to be expressed fairly in the pricing. My distinguished clients know that authentic style and quality are rare.
I am devoted to providing a "European-style" service to my clients. There is an unspoken understanding of service, an appreciation of a client's wishes and an atmosphere of mutual respect between myself and my clients. To me, every client is my only client.
The end product, the finished photograph, is important in all photography. Other photographers may put all your photographs on a disk and send you on your way or use Internet printing labs, which will produce prints of inferior quality. This may be cheap but it is also deeply dissatisfying and sacrifices any ideals of quality. I use only the best equipment and the finest, professional materials to create my hand-crafted, exhibition quality prints and fine photobooks that will take pride of place in your home and in your heart.
My studio nestles in the tranquil Wiltshire countryside near Devizes, easily accessible by car and public transport. My studio is not a sterile environment but an informal and relaxed space.
I also like to photograph my clients on location, in a space of special relevancy, e.g. their home or other sacred spot, indoors or out, throughout Britain and internationally.
