You need to make a distinction between editorial links in the text and ads.
The editorial links are selected by hand and point to quality sites.
Everything that says "Ads by Google" are adverts. The ads on this site are the same as adverts on TV or in a magazine: Some products are better and more suitable than others. Only you know what's right for you. Remember that upfront fees are a first warning sign.
Use the ads to check out and compare what is on offer. Always use common sense, remember the three cardinal rules for aspiring models and inform yourself about modelling scams.
Maintaining the Models' Guide costs time and money. This is why there are ads in these pages. Every time you click on an ad, I get a few pennies, which contribute towards the upkeep of these pages. Part of it goes to charity.
How to report a dishonest ad on this site
If you come across an ad on this site, which you think is dishonest, a rip-off or scam, I want to hear about it.
Click on the ad and copy the URL (in the address bar of your browser) into the message field on this page - this is important! - and select "contact the webmaster" as the subject.
Please also tell me why you feel the ad is dishonest. I will investigate your report and, if appropriate, block the advertiser in question and report them to Google Adsense.
Let's make life a little more difficult for fraudsters. Together, we can create a safer environment.
