So, you want to become a model? Be an icon of beauty and glamour and seduce the cameras of the most distinguished fashion photographers? If you want to become a model, you need to act like a pro, market your talent and avoid the scams.

Modelling is not all about glamour, fame and fun. Your stunning looks alone will not get you far. Put brain before beauty. To make it as a model, you need the right looks, a fit and healthy body of the right dimensions, the right attitude and a generous helping of luck.

Many modelling sites will promise to help you to become a successful model. Many so-called agencies only exist to sell you model portfolios, without finding you any work. Wolf's Models Guide will help you to avoid the pitfalls and the scams and to stay safe. It will also give you some practical strategies for becoming a successful model. Wolf's Models Guide is honest, no-nonsense and won't tempt you into thinking that you can achieve the impossible. Try to become a model if this is what you really want but keep your feet on the ground.

I first started this guide for models in 2002. It has since become one of the most respected resources on the Internet for aspiring models. For its ten year anniversary in 2012, it has been completely revised and updated to make it easier to digest. Wolf's Models Guide is different from other modelling publications on the Internet. What sets it apart is the fact that it aims to keep your feet on the ground, helps you to be safe and does not give you false hopes.

Unlike many other sites, I have no incentive to talk you into becoming a model. Yes, I can produce a model portfolio for you, but it is not the main activity of my business and I also make it clear that you may not need a portfolio at all. I just want you to be safe and happy.

The contents of this guide represent my personal opinion. I may not have the definitive answer to every question but the information in these pages is authoritative and honest.
