TFDL Time for Download Photo Shoots
A TFDL photo shoot is the same as a TFCD (time for CD) shoot with the exception that the images are supplied for download from the photographer's website rather than on CD.

The term TFDL is not yet widely used (it is my own invention) but TFDL - time for download - is increasingly replacing TFCD.
Sending files by e-mail is possible but not very attractive because messages with large attachments can get blocked by overly eager spam controls. Sometimes, large attachments can become corrupted during transfer.
