How it works: The experience
Have a Me Moment: A bespoke photo session, tailored to an individual client. There is only one you. You deserve a photo session, which is equally unique.
From the moment of the first contact, you receive my per-sonal attention: You deal with me personally by telephone or e-mail and I will photograph you personally.
By the time we meet for your photo session, I will have al-ready spent time learning about your requirements and planning your personal photo session.
Let's talk
You have looked at my photo-graphy portfolio and read about my services. You may have questions before you de-cide to commission me. The Q&A section of my website may just have the answers that you are looking for.
Please contact me to discuss your questions. I treat every-thing you tell me perfectly confidentially.

You need to decide where you want me to photograph you: at your home, other favourite location or at my studio.
When you are ready to make a booking, I will ask for a de-posit to reserve your appointment.
Before the session
Between then and the day of the photo session, we will talk again, if there is anything that still needs discussing. You may wish to read how to prepare.
I plan every commission indi-vidually. I would like you to e-mail me a snapshot or two, if possible. Not a must, but it helps me to prepare.
On the day
If the photo session is to take place at my studio, you will have received travel direc-tions or I will meet you at the

train station.
If I photograph you in anoth-er location, I will make every effort to arrive on time. On location, I set up camera and lighting equipment, which will take about 20 to 30 min-utes. At my studio, I will offer you tea or coffee; and in any case, we will have a chat to get to know each other a bit.
Depending on what we have planned, I will ask you to get changed and do your make-up before we get started.
You may have never done anything like this before and may be a little nervous. A photo session with me is not a formal or intimidating event. Equipment is kept to a mini-mum and the ambience is informal. A photo session is meant to be an enjoyable event, where everything is allowed, nothing is a must and you can express your personality in safety and confidence.

I want you to be your natural self. We talk and I will encour-age you to open your soul to the camera. I will not ask you to get into unnatural, stiff poses. I will gently guide you and help you to overcome your natural inhibitions.
If you want to be photographed nude or in lingerie, I will ask you to undress only when you are ready and feel comfortable and safe.
After the session
After the photo session, depend-ing on location and travel arrangements, I will see you off, take you back to the train station, or pack up and leave.
I can normally get contact sheets, from which you select your prints, to you within a few days.
For more information about what happens after a photo session, please read this section of my Q&A.
