All my work is conceived on film, almost all of it in black & white and very often on location.

I use film because it is an authentic piece of material and because it has an entirely different feel compared to digital capture. I work in black and white because of its sheer beauty and fundamental abstractness. Colour sessions can be arranged on request.

I plan every photo session individually. There are no templates or pre-defined thought-processes. No idea is re-used over and over. No two commissions are ever the same because no two clients are the same.

What holds it together is a personal, distinctive style of photography that has had time to develop.
